Acceptable use

Credits are paid for by ad revenue. Automating, scripting or botting ad watches, using multiple accounts, exploiting bugs, or otherwise earning credits without actually watching the ads is ad fraud. It is treated exactly as seriously as it sounds.

Consequences start with zeroed balances and go up to permanent account termination. Earnings gained through abuse are removed, and servers paid for with them are deleted.

Everyone gets one account. Accounts exist to hold credits and servers, not to multiply daily ad caps. If you need a server for a friend, they can make their own account in a couple of minutes.

Run from your server or through the service, the following are never allowed:

• Denial-of-service attacks, stressers, or booters of any kind
• Port scanning, brute forcing, or probing other systems
• Malware, botnets, or command and control servers
• Anything illegal in the jurisdiction of the operator

Every plan has fixed RAM, CPU and disk limits, and they are enforced. Do not try to escape container limits, mine cryptocurrency, run proxies or VPN tunnels, mirror or rehost other services, or otherwise use the server as free generic compute. A Minecraft server is for Minecraft.

If you run something unusual that you think is fine, ask the operator first. Surprises in this department tend to end in suspension.

You are responsible for what runs on your server and what happens on it. Do not distribute content you do not have the right to distribute, do not build communities around harassment, and do not use FreeHaven to host sexual content involving minors, gore dumps, or similar material. Server owners are expected to moderate their own communities.

Operators can inspect, suspend or delete servers that break this policy, at their discretion, without a refund (there is nothing to refund). Serious cases, especially ad fraud and attacks, end in permanent account termination.

If you see abuse, report it to the site operator with as much detail as you have.
