Acceptable use

Don't do anything illegal, hostile, or that unfairly eats shared resources. Use common sense — if it would get you banned from any other host, it will get you suspended here too.

Servers and accounts must not be used to distribute illegal material, infringe copyright, share malware, phish, or break any applicable law.

No DDoS participation or stress testing, no port scanning or brute forcing from your server, no spam, and no acting as a proxy or tunnel to obscure other traffic.

Servers are for Minecraft. No cryptocurrency mining, no background workers unrelated to your game server, and no deliberate attempts to exceed your plan limits or degrade the node for other players.

One account per person. Earning credits through automation, bots, alt accounts, or any circumvention of the daily caps is a violation of the terms of service.

Server names, worlds, and any content visible to other players must follow these same rules. You are responsible for what runs on your server, including content added by other players if you let them in.

We respond to violations based on severity: a warning for minor first offenses, suspension for repeat or serious ones, and immediate termination for attacks, illegal content, or earning fraud. Suspended servers keep their data until removed for extended non-payment.

If you become aware of a server or account breaking these rules, report it to an operator through the official FreeHaven community channels with as much detail as possible.
