Terms of service

FreeHaven provides free Minecraft and Eaglercraft server hosting. The service is funded by advertising: users watch ads to earn credits, and credits pay for servers. Operators may also grant credits manually or, where enabled, sell optional top-ups.

Credits are a unit of account inside FreeHaven. They are earned by completing ad watches, granted by operators, or purchased where top-ups are enabled. Credits have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not transferable between accounts.

Because the service is free, there are no refunds to issue. If an operator sells optional top-ups, any refund questions for those purchases are handled by that operator under the terms of the payment provider used.

You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens through your account. One account per person. Giving false information at registration, sharing accounts, or creating extra accounts to farm credits is not allowed.

Servers run while there are credits to pay for them. When your balance runs out, a server is suspended and it comes back after you top up. Nothing is deleted automatically at suspension, but keeping backups of your world is your responsibility, and you should download anything you care about regularly.

The service is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. Maintenance, hardware failures and capacity limits can take servers offline temporarily or permanently. Do not run anything on FreeHaven that you cannot afford to lose.

Everything you do on FreeHaven must follow the acceptable use policy, which is published separately on this site. Breaking it can get servers suspended or accounts terminated.

Worlds, plugins, configurations and anything else you upload remain yours. By running them on FreeHaven you give the service nothing more than the technical permission needed to host and execute them for you.

You can stop using FreeHaven at any time; there is no contract to escape. The operator can suspend or terminate accounts and servers that break these terms, drain credits earned through abuse, or threaten the service.

These terms may change as the service grows. The last-updated date at the top of the page reflects the current version, and material changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting it.

FreeHaven is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft is their product. You are responsible for following Minecraft's usage guidelines and license for the game and its assets, including how Eaglercraft clients are obtained and used.
